Hello! My name is Michael Havens. I am a lay Catholic Christian. It is my intent here to look out into the world and discuss things from a Catholic perspective and help Catholics to engage the world.

Whether you are Catholic or not, you are welcome here. In my articles, I hope to share and discuss the Catholic faith with fellow Christians, but always in the spirit of  1 Peter 3: 15-16 (NRSVCE):

“¹⁵ but in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you; ¹⁶ yet do it with gentleness and reverence”
